Labor Day Weekend : Best Parties in LA

Labor Day Weekend is here, and as usual, packed with great activities. If you are in LA, there are loads of activities and places to visit. There is no need to sit around the house wondering what to do with your life. Read on for the best ways to end your summer in LA in style.

LA Fleet Week

LA Fleet Week is held annually at the LA Port. It is a multi-day event that runs throughout the Labor Day Weekend. Since it is free to the public, passing through to celebrate our nations Sea Service is an easy and affordable option! You do not require a ticket for this.

This year’s event will be presented by Jack Ryan- yes, the Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan! Enjoy military displays, equipment demonstrations, live entertainment, and aircraft flyovers. For basketball fans, the LA Fleet Week 5 on 5 Basketball Tournament is a must attend. Bring your kids along and they can enjoy the kids’ STEM Expo.

Labor Day Weekend at Playhouse Night Club

The Playhouse Labor Day weekend party is here for all the Hip Hop fans.  The club kicks off with TBA Fridays at 10.30 pm on August 31st through to September 2nd at 3.00 am. Their slogan for the weekend “No Work, No School the next day equals All Play House Night Club #LDW2018 in LA” resonates well with what you should do.

Outdoor Movies

Imagine watching some of the best movies in the open outdoors! If you are a movie lover and this sounds like a great idea for you, Rooftop Cinema Club has got you covered. They will be screening movies from their two venues, Neuehouse, and LEVEL in downtown LA. Street Food Cinema, too, will be screening movies at Will Rogers State Park  and Griffith Park.

LA County Fair

The LA County Fair kicks off on 31st August and runs through the month of September. The event will take place at Fairplex in Pomona. There will be live music, gardening demos and rides among others.
